Ben is a public relations and communications professional and former journalist with over 20 years in the media and communications industry. He has extensive experience in the broadcast industry, having worked as a producer/presenter at the BBC World Service and a Senior Producer at the Caribbean Media Corporation. He was an integral member of the leadership team at Observer Radio in Antigua and Barbuda, serving as Programme Director and News Director. He’s remembered for his time at Cayman 27, where he was a reporter/producer before becoming the local TV station’s News Director and head of special broadcast projects. Ben serves as a board member of the Cayman Islands Film Commission, a government entity established to promote the Cayman Islands as a prime location for film, television, music video, photoshoots, and advertising productions. In that role, he works with other board members to liaison with international film production companies and facilitates the permitting and licensing for those entities to produce world class content in the Cayman Islands. Ben is Senior Manager of Communications at Dart, where he works closely with several of the organisation’s senior leaders, while playing a pivotal role in helping manage Dart’s reputation with the public.
